  1. how to do things in taskbar programs with CMD?

How could I use a CMD line to connect to my VPN by hitting this button? or do about anything else with loads of other programs? I know this is a strange request but I'm making a shortcut that launches a program and connects to my VPN when I do so.

    C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /k "C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft Launcher\MinecraftLauncher.exe" & *insert connect to VPN here*

And idk but if it's possible, but could something hit the same disconnect button when it closes? I only want to be connected to the VPN while this game is running and I keep forgetting to disconnect.

EDIT: can also use a .bat to do the same thing, and I'm open to using a program like AHK

  2. program to hide the taskbar

    Hello,

I Do not recommend you to use third party programs for that kind of things as it might cause system to dysfunction.

I suggest you follow these steps

Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar. (If you're in tablet mode, hold a finger on the taskbar.)

    Click taskbar settings.

Toggle Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode to on. (You can also do the same for tablet mode.)

    Remove (open) programs from taskbar

I'd just get a program called Ultramon. It puts a second taskbar on the second monitor, so if you have something up and running on the second monitor at all times it is displayed on that taskbar. It doesn't do exactly what you want, but it does solve the problem of wasted taskbar space.
