Windows 10: How to double tap on single press

I want to make a single key to double tap for example my J key but i dont know how and the google dont seem to have much answer i just want to try this on Minecraft Bedrock any answer?Also sorry if this a wrong category

Thanks for the quick response but this is double clicking - not double tapping. Do you know how to perform the function of a double click with a double tap??

Right - there is a difference between single tap and single click and double tap and double click

when i "single tap" on the touchpad - i tap it (rather than click the pad down) and that would perform the task of a single click - i find this function very annoying as it makes me inadvertently open folders and files i am not looking to open - so i went
to touchpad settings and turned off the "single tap to single click" function

I would, however, like to change this so a double TAP performs the function of a single click. Can a Dell XPS with windows 10 do this or is apple the only company to offer a useful function like this?

the option under touchpad that says "tap with a single finger to single click"

i want to make it double tap with a single finger to single click - can the computer do this or not?
