Windows 10: How to “downgrade” to windows 7 pro or home, so I can get 10?

Okay, so here is the issue. Im trying to upgrade my computer to windows 10 Pro from 7 Enterprise. I cannot upgrade from Enterprise to 10 Pro for some reason. Windows won’t let me. I only have one computer to do this on, so don’t think I can uninstall everything and then install regular windows 7, then upgrade to 10? So what can I do from only one computer?

I’ve been trying this for 2 days now and am frustrated that I can’t just do a simple update.

So you have a software download of Windows 10 Pro with no product key.

Is that correct?

Then you say:

If you already have Windows 7 why download Windows 10 Pro if you don't want to use Windows 10 Pro??

If by some chance you mean that you bought Windows 10 Pro and you want to downgrade it for free to Windows 7 Pro, you can't.

Windows 10 Pro had to be a preinstalled OEM license.

Downgrade Rights from 10 Pro to 7 Pro has to follow a certain path, with the first part being how you purchase Windows 10
Pro.

You would have to buy 10 Pro preinstalled and make arrangements with the OEM manufacturer for a downgrade to 7 Pro.
