Windows 10: How to download apps outside Microsoft Store? I am on Windows 11 Home, no S Mode.

I've been trying to download apps from online I am aware that it can affect my laptop negatively but it wouldn't let me download it. I tried downloading Google Chrome even though it is my default browser to see if it would accept it, but it wouldn't allow that either.I've been searching every where to see what I can do and nothing works. I am not in S Mode so there isn't a way to turn it off to see. I don't have the Apps & Features section, just the Installed Apps. I've opened up Registry Edit to see if I can delete the file, but it doesn't exist. I've ran Command Prompt and scanned to

Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance but it disables installation of any apps/games outside of Microsoft store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you can switch out of S mode by following the steps listed on the link below. Hope this helps. Thank you.

What happens when you try to download the app? Is there an error that's keeping you from downloading it from the link you provided?

In the meantime, double-check if you're in S mode. Go to Settings > System > About > Windows Specification and it will tell you your edition of Windows 11. If it says Windows 11 S mode, you'll have to switch out of it before you can download and install apps outside of Microsoft Store.
