How to email pictures from W10 photo app?

Desktop Dell Inspiron 560 4gb RAM; high speed cable; MS Windows10 64bit; Windows Live Mail 2012(awful!!!); MS Word Pro 2003; Mozilla Firefox; Avast AV; Windows Media Player; Adobe Reader; Adobe flash Player]

I've written a letter on my email and included a few photos. I have W10 and I simply can't understand its photo app! Since I don't know how to transfer some of these photos in W10 ro my email so that the recipient can enlarge them and with one more click can see the next ones, I decided to copy them instead and then paste them on my email.

QUESTION: Do you think that doing this copy/paste will give the recipient what I just described above? I do have Photo Gallery but in this W10 I don't know how to use it.

Please kindly someone help me send this email with the pictures? Thanks ever SO much!!!

    :)

How to email pictures from W10 photo app?

Do you need the photos appear next to your email text ?
If not, why don't you send the photos in attachments ?

Thank you David! To send them as attachments is ok, I just don't know how to do it from the w10 photo app. I see all my pictures on that W10 photo app, but (1) I have to choose some, and (2) I don't see any links saying: transfer or something.

Is it possible to change this W10 photo app into the Windows Photo Gallery so I'll be sure the recipient can easily roll up the photos to enlarge and just one click to go to the next photo?

I say this because the last person I mailed them to told me he couldn't enlarge them, that they arrived as simple pictures...

Where are your photos actually saved at ?
Pictures folder ? Documents folder ?

Select photos from the actual folder for attachments.

Adding.................... what email program are you using ?

If you have WLM 2012, then you should have Windows Photo Gallery, unless you declined to install it when you installed Windows Essentials.

To send attachments using WLM, all you have to do is click Email message at top left > click the paper clip icon for attachment > navigate to the folder where your photos are, click them > click Open.
    That's it.

As mentioned, my email is WLMail2012 which is part of the Essentials package. I used to have Photo Gallery with my Win7. Now, although I don't see it in my Programs and Features, I do have it in that list of programs (don't recall what MS calls it). Also I made a shortcut in my taskbar in the hopes of starting to use it, but...in W10 I don't know how..... *Sad

Assuming you have read my Post #7.

Windows Photo Gallery is part of Windows Essentials, you know that. As such , you will not see it listed separately in Programs and Features. They are all under Windows essentials 2012.

It is called All apps in stead of All Programs as in Win 7.
Go to alphabet P > right click at Photo Gallery > click More > click Pin to Taskbar > or, click Open file location > right click at Photo Gallery > click Send To > click Desktop (create shortcut) > you have a desktop shortcut.

    You are welcome.

Let me know if you are successful in sending attachments the way I described.

P.S. If you have Photo Gallery, set it as your default, dump that Photo app.

Oh I'm so glad you say I can dump Photo app. because even I as a dummy can tell it's a mess! How can I delete it from my computer (if it won't cause problems of course)? Because I hate seeing all my huge pictures looking at my face each time I go there! lol!

And yes, I will let you know how I did in sending the attachments.
