Windows 10: How to enable manual login in windows 10 without password?

i have 2 accounts in my pc, one has passworduser 1, the other has notuser 2. whenever i restart my pc after using user 2, im automatically logged in with that user and i have to log out to log in with user 1. but when i restart my computer after using user 1, im not automatically logged in to user 1 since i have to put the password and i can choose where i want to log in.is it possible to manual log in without password? or do i really have to put a password? i have seen a similar question answered but the solution was to make sure they have passwords. i want manual login without password.

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

 

how to enable auto login in ChrEdge

I'm using the Chrome version of Edge in Win 10 1909. I do NOT login to a Microsoft account and will not sync passwords to online accounts.

In Edge I have "save passwords" and "auto login" turned on, When I manually enter username and password fields, the browser offers to save them (unfortunately only when a password field is present which complicates two screen logins). I save the username (manually entered into the save window) and password.

When I revisit the site to login, no auto login sequence executes. I'm presented with the normal login window(s) for the site and have to manually enter the UID and Passwords.

Must be doing something wrong, but can't figure out what. Searches haven't helped. Any suggestions? Thanks

 

No password login box

Hi Helen,

There could be changes made with the settings on your computer that has disabled the option to have users to log in with a username and password. This should be enabled back to get again the login window.

If you're able to login to your system without using the password, please follow these steps to enable the login window during startup:

• Right-click the Windows key and select Run.
• In the Run field, type in control userpasswords2 and hit
  Enter.
• In the User Accounts dialog box, check the box for Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.
• Click Apply, then OK.
• Restart your computer and see if you're prompted with the login window.

In case you can't login to your system, please boot your computer in Safe Mode. Check out the link,

Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10 and follow the steps in From the sign-in screen. Once you're in Safe Mode, follow the steps above to enable the password prompt. Once done, restart your computer to go back to normal mode.
