Windows 10: How to enable recycle bin for USB flash drives?

There is recycle bin for all hard disks in my computer, which allows me to recover files from it easily. But I found if the files are in the USB drive, delete them means to delete them permanently. Because USB drives don't have recycle bin by default. I can't recovery data from USB if I delete them inadvertently. Or is there any recovery tool to help me?

Geethu: The article you linked has NOTHING to do with the question - it only tells you how to show the recycle bin on the desktop.

I believe, the original poster wanted to know why "some" flash drives have a working Recycle bin and others do not. Also: Is there a way to enable a recycle bin, if the flash drive does NOT have a recycle bin?

From all I can tell, the answer is, "it depends on the specific flash drive". When I contacted Kingston via web chat

regarding a 512GB HyperX Savage flash drive, I was told:

"...our drive is not set up to use the Recycle Bin or even tie itself into it..."

By default Windows will not create a Recycle bin on a flash Drive, only internal and external hard drives. Files deleted on a flash drive are gone forever . . .

There are 3rd party utilities that create a Recycle Bin on a flash Drive, but I would assume that utility would have to be installed on all the PC's you use that flash drive on . ..

Recycle Bin is only available for system drives. So, when you delete any file from USB, the file will be moved out and not sent to Recycle Bin.
