Windows 10: How to enable search bar history results.

Bing search bar was displaying a drop down box of my previous search results. Its gone. I have tried restting all my settings, turning things off and on, do i need to reinstall. Its so frustrating i really do not like this bloated browser and im shocked to find you cant take it off your machine for good. I want firefox browser, well my head exploded when it said its an application not on the list. The sooner bing is gone the better. we need OS that does not lock you into a browser or control your machine in such a way as to tell you this app is not approved.

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?

Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

Any suggestions to fix this?

Are you referring to hide search bar option?

If yes, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

  Right click on the search bar.

  Select search option.
  
• 
  Now click on the hidden option.

To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.
