Windows 10: How to enable searching the web from the windows start menu/search bar?

Hi,I'm trying to re-enable searching the web from the Windows search bar after it disappeared without me changing any settings. I tried modifying the registry to re-enable it without any luck. Any ideas?Thanks,Craze

Windows 10 Start Menu Search


Hi,
Search in Windows new start menu is annoying, each time web search using bing results are also shown, which is really unwanted.
Using :: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Search
We can enable the following 3 options to disable web search:

• Do not allow web search
• Don’t search the web or display web results in Search
• Don’t search the web or display web results in Search over

However, as usual I'm looking for a way to do this via registry, anyone willing to help, please?

No Search Bar in Start Menu

Hello,

My start menu has no search bar. I looked this up on the forum, and one answer was to go into Control Panel -> Programs & Features -> Turn Windows features on or off -> check mark the box for 'Windows Search' -> Reboot.

Problem 1: 'Windows Search' is not on my list of Windows items that can be turned on or off.

Where is the search bar?

Problem 2: I need the search bar to find the Snipping Tool!

Start Menu and search on web does not work

I downloaded Windows 10. A week after downloading, my Start Menu or Search web and Windows does not work. Also the Internet Explorer disappeared from the task bar. I followed the instructions sent by Robdon. On the Task Manager there was not "iexplorer"
or "user". I selected the closest to that which was "Windows Explorer" and followed Robdon's instructions. I still cannot use the Menu or Search the Web and Windows. Any other suggestions?
