Windows 10: How to enable seconds in system clock

Title says it all. Found this article, which had a couple suggestions: https://winaero.com/how-to-enable-seconds-for-the-taskbar-clock-in-windows-11/" Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors, and check the “Show seconds in system tray clock” option."Is not there for meTried registry fixes, but that made it worse and actually removed the system clock all together, while also breaking the start menu completely. Had to undo that change and now back to square one.Why on Earth would Microsoft remove the seconds from the clock? I use it quite often for a game I play..

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

System Clock

The windows system clock does not display in the lower right hand corner. I am unable to download any clock apps. Is my system corrupted? What's the first step to correcting this problem?

 

Hide or Show Seconds on Taskbar Clock in Windows 10

You can use step 5 in Option Two of the tutorial below to manually change your "Long time" format to h:mm ss tt like below to have a space between time (hour/minutes) and seconds on the taskbar system clock.
