Windows 10: How to Erase a Windows 11 desktop computer for a new owner?

    How to Erase a Windows 11 desktop computer for a new owner?


    What is the best way to wipe and restore the computer to factory settings so its brand new for a new owner? I tried going to Reset this PC then select Remove Everything. I was unsure to select Cloud Download or Local Reinstall for Windows? I do not have a Windows reinstall disk or anything so I assume I need to select Cloud download? After selecting that it says current settings remove apps and files. Do not clean the drive.I am confused why it is saying Do not clean the drive? As that is what I am wanting to do so the computer is clear of all my info and settings for the new owner?Thanks for

    Reset Windows 11 22H2 for new owner problem

    I just sold my win 11 PC, but I need to wipe all my details from the SSD.

    How do I reset the PC so that when the owner gets it , he can set up his own name and MS login, password ?

    Online, all I can find are solutions involving me, having to fill in the new owners details, which I do not know.

    I would like the new Windows 11 install to be the same, as when one purchases a laptop in a shop.

    Can someone please give me a sequence of steps?

    Finally! An alternative to eraser...

    it looks much cleaner then the eraser so that is a big step up.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
