Unable to execute the Powershell scripts on Windows 11

Same , In Windows 10 also execution policy is Undefined and same error message when I try to execute it through PS cmdlet. But, I am able to execute the same file in Win10.

But, why I am unable to execute the script on win11 ?

How to narrow down my analysis ?

I am suspecting on the Digital signature and certificate related stuff .. what do you think ?

    Any suggestion ?

  3. Why do startup scripts execute differently based on how the system is started?

The VM I'm using for this startup script project does not has a Fast Startup option so I couldn't investigate that as a possible solution. Using shutdown /r /f /t 0 didn't make difference in the way the startup script was executed. The result was the same as just running shutdown /r, i.e. the startup script is only executed when I sign in to the system.

  4. How to execute scripts in my system?

Why do startup scripts execute differently based on how the system is started?

I am running Windows 10 Home Edition 22H2. I have a script in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp that enables a function in an active service. The script is in this location so its not associated with any specific user and it executes before I log in to the system if the system is started manually via Start->Power->Restart. I can monitor the system remotely via a browser and can see that the functions enabled by the script are up and running. If I then log in to the system and run shutdown /r either from the command line or as a scheduled task, the same script is not executed as part of the system startup. It is only run when I log on to the system. My questions are:

    a) Why is there a difference in when the script is executed based on how the system is restarted?

    b) Is there a way to get the same behavior from shutdown /r as when you do a manual restart?

    c) Is there another way to reboot the system from the command line that would give the same results as a manual restart?

    Thanks in advance.
