Windows 10: How to exit from Windows 10 Preview Build to Windows 10 launch

Am using Windows 10 Insider Preview Build - Want to exit preview build program and install windows 10. How do I do that?

Launch Windows Defender from the Notification Area and try updating through Windows Defender itself.

Windows 10 Preview from Windows 7 (SP1)

I recently installed Windows 10 Preview Build 11030, choosing to overwrite my activated Windows 7.

My question is, when the final build goes live, and I choose to opt out of the windows experience program, does Windows know that I upgraded from Win7 and apply the activation? Or will I be permanently bound by the Preview builds and have to reinstall windows
7, then windows 10 from within windows 7 on launch day?

 

Your preview build should be activated. Go into Settings Update and Security, Activation and see if you're activated. If you're on build 10240, you should be. So far as I can tell, there's nothing more to do. Problem is, the EULA (type winver.exe then click on the link for the license Agreement) isn't yet functional, as its links are still broken.

 

Thank you. I do see the Advanced Options under the Update/Security. Am on automatic updates. Do not see "activation." Message says the updates are up to date, however, still see Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Evaluation Copy build 10074 in the right bottom area of the desk top on my laptop.
