  1. How to extend the win10 recovery partition w/o deleting it?

Recently, I had an HP system fail the windows 10 update KB5034441. This system was not using Bitlocker which seems to be the cause of KB5034441 being pushed out as an update. According to many "tips", such as this one, the install failure will prevent future updates from installing.I attempted to enlarge the Recovery Partition. I was able to shrink the OS by 1gb using win10 disk management, but there was no way to enlarge the Recovery Partition. I ended up using Diskpart and following the instructions I removed the recovery partition and re-created it and got the additional 1gb of space.

    :)

You will need a bootable 3rd party program to do this...

You may need to do a Startup Repair after deleting the Recovery... I Did Not, but others have...

You may need to do a Startup Repair regardless of the method you use to extend your partition. Especially if it involves Moving or Deleting the Recovery..
