Windows 10: How to factory reset / disconnect from admin

Hello, I have just purchased my old work laptop from the company and no longer work for the so am having difficulty getting IT help. Basically our previous IT support company were not fully removed when the latest company took over so after factory resetting my laptop has defaulted to the old admin user account. I have tried the various suggestions regarding holding shift and clicking the power and troubleshooting but I cannot get the troubleshoot option to pop up. I've tried resetting defaults in the bios on start up too but doesn't change anything. I believe it's windows 10 and it's a lenova

How to factory reset / disconnect from admin

I have a big problem. I have this computer I got from school from 2021, I’ve tried everything to reset it and remove the school lock, but they have completely disabled any way to disconnect from the admin and any way to factory reset the laptop. I’ve tried to contact the school but they refuse to help. I’ve tried signing into a new account but the local user doesn’t have a password so I have no way to change the user. I’m tempted to take it into a shop in attempt to get it erased but I thought I’d try Microsoft first before wasting any money and time. Any help would be helpful.
