Windows 10: How to factory reset my computer with missing Bitlocker key?

I lost my bitlocker recovery key and tried to factory reset my computer but it will not let me. I have no files I am worried about losing, just need access to my computer. What are my options?

Missing Bitlocker Key - Factory Reset

I have a Lenovo Yoga with Windows 10 laptop I am needing to Factory Reset (full wipe)
As soon as I turn on the laptop it immediately asks for a Bitlocker Key. This is an inherited laptop, so I don't have the key.
I can go to a menu with the option to troubleshoot, which gives me the option to Reset this PC. But when I click remove everything, cloud download windows 10, it kicks me back to the main menu.
I have also tried to reset the computer via the command prompt using the prompts: systemreset -cleanpc, and systemreset --factoryreset. They both say the command does not exist.

What else can I try? I don't want to have to purchase a new hard drive if I don't have to.

Need to reset computer that has bitlocker activated

We have a computer with Bitlocker (TPM) on it and I use Sophos to track the recovery key. Each time you use the recovery key it resets the key and tells Sophos the new key. We don't have the windows password to log on so we cannot change the boot pin and I need to do a computer reset which will wipe out Sophos as it does a factory reset basically. How do I get the recovery key once the computer has been reset? Will the reset turn off Bitlocker? I am worried that we will lose total access to the PC.

 

Factory Reset a Computer With Bitlocker (No Recovery Key)

I am trying to factory reset a computer that has a drive encrypted by Bitlocker and running Windows 11. I have no way to recover the key, so my goal is only to perform a clean install of Windows. If I try running Diskpart clean, the hard drive will no longer appear in diskpart list and cannot be detected by the installation media, however the BIOS is still able to recognize it. The computer will show "no boot device detected" after powering on.

I've seen some mention of using delete partition override in other posts, but I'm unsure which partition I should be running this command on. Should this be used on the System partition or the Primary partition? One attempt at using this command on Primary allowed me to perform a new installation, but the laptop's touchpad and speakers became non-functional even after fully updating Windows/drivers.

So, what is the proper way to do this without damaging the system? Can someone explain why diskpart clean makes the hard drive unrecognizable, and why my second attempt damaged the touchpad/audio functionality?
