Windows 10: How to find out if the usb will burn or not?

I had a problem with my computer, I wanted to know, there was such a case that I used an old cable with a dedicated usb for a new computer and the computer turned off, it was said that I can worry about such problems, but I wanted to ask and find out, maybe you can help me find out why the computer turned off with the old cable , the cable was old, but intact only from old use, I wanted to ask how to see if the USB will burn or if it will turn black and nothing happened to the motherboard, if there was no burn or there was no smell, but maybe there are such cases when the USB of the computer b

Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?

As you want to remove the notification for "Files waiting to be burned", I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Open This PC.
• Navigate to the location: C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Temporary Burn Folder
• Delete the files preset in the above location and check for status.

Note: This will delete the files which have been selected to burn on CD/DVD.
