Windows 10: How to find 'Outline View' as an option on PowerPoint on windows

When I open view on PowerPoint, I do not see outline view as an option.I am currently accessing Powerpoint through my windows account.

As you are not able to see the PowerPoint Mobile app in windows store. I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the app which is freely available in Windows Store.

Follow the below steps for the same.

• Type Control Panel on the search bar,then go to Programs and Features, Click View Updates
• Click the update that you want to remove, and then click Uninstall. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

since this happens in some of the computers only, suggest that you open the file on working computer and copy everything and paste to a new powerpoint file.
most of the time it works to me. *Smile

 

How does "outline view" work in Word Mobile?

Regarding the query you have about Word outline view on mobile documents.



The outline view on the mobile works the same as outline view on regular word, as a link to various sections of a document. If it isn't working there are a couple of suggestions I have.



Click on the Office hub on the phone, slide across to Documents and click on Explore Word, this should open a sample word doc that tells you about how to use Word on the phone. Click on the outline icon and see if outline appears.



If the above works as it should, then create a simple word doc on your computer, maybe four paragraphs with headings, then import into Office on the phone and see if it works.



Then build up the complexity of the doc on your computer and import into the phone and see at what point the outlook view fails on the phone.



Also, bear in mind that the version of Word on the phone does have limitations and the more complex the imported doc is then all the formating may not appear on the phone.
