    How to fix a laptop missing an Operating System and diver


    I have an HP Stream 14 ax0xx laptop that is missing an operating system, I have downloaded windows onto a USBbootable device and when i plug it into the laptop the next screen in to install windows but then it says it's missing a driver. How can i fix this?

    Fixing operating system

    My laptop shows missing operating system when i open it. There is no windows in primary hard drive because i format all. I have windows 10 in my sd card can it fix it. Sd card can fix except pen drive.? When i put sd card nothing shows? How can i fix it
    ? Please suggest me.

    After updates Windows 10 says "Missing operating system"

    I have the same issue, and I followed your suggestion steps. After that, I can see C: drive, and Windows folder is there.

    Then I rebooted the computer. But I still have the missing the operation system issue. Any suggestions?

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
