Windows 10: How to fix a SSD wich had Windows installed on it? its on ReadOnly, tried to format but i cant.

recently i bought a SSD and installed windows 11 on a laptop. One day my laptop was installing updates on background and the PC shutted down somehow i had battery and it was connected. when i turned on the PC there was a blue screen with nothing on it.I tried waiting, tried to fix windows with a pendrive, tried to open Bios and find the problem but i couldnt. So I went back to the old HDD and install windows on the same laptop and it worked, so the problem was SSD. the SSD still have windows partitions because the installation but I cant format it. Its on ReadOnly because of windows security

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Ssd wont format

Hello there. This is Emily.

I assume you are installing from the ISO flash drive right? If so, at the step where it asks you where to install Windows, instead of using the format option, use delete option instead. Delete every partition listed for the SSD. It might say Drive 0 or Drive 1, etc, but you should be able to tell which drive is your SSD based on the size. Once all partitions are deleted, you would be given one unallocated space. That's the one you can select, then click next for Windows to install.

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.
