Windows 10: How to fix acer login issues?

Hi, I'm having a problem with my Acer laptop. I'll try to explain the problem to the best of my ability. I'm unable to log in. Normally, I don't have a password, so I just click enter to log in and see the home screen. However, a few weeks back, something happened, and now I'm unable to log in. When I try, it shows the loading icon, but nothing happens.I've tried restarting multiple times until it showed "Your PC did not start correctly," which led me to troubleshoot in various ways. It won't even let me reset everything, as I'm met with a "There was a problem resetting this PC" message. I've

Acer reinstall issue

Had plenty of experience with Acer devices, been able to resolve all issues with the following steps ....

Clean install Windows 10 with Windows MCE

Run Windows updates (software and hardware) to exhaustion (i.e. none left)

Check for missing drivers ..... Control Panel > Device Manger

Access device support from Acer site, download identifiable missing drivers

Remaining drivers - download, install and run Snappy Driver Installer ORIGIN (make sure it's the ORIGIN version) - SDIO

Install ONLY !!! the required drivers (not any others, just because they're listed ... with installing drivers, it's always the case If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it). Required = missing or not working properly.

Uninstall SDIO (use Geek Uninstaller).

 

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

I suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
• Did you try with only safe mode or safe mode with networking?
• What is the critical error you are getting?

If you are using Windows 10. To go to safe mode you have to follow the below steps.

If you are able to go to login screen in normal mode try the below steps to go to safe mode with networking and check if the issue persists.

  At the login screen click on the power symbol.
  
• 
  Hold SHIFT + Click Restart.
  
• 
  After restarting your system, select the Troubleshoot option.
  
• 
  Select advanced options under
  Troubleshoot screen.
  
• 
  Click on Startup Settings.
  
• 
  Click Restart and follow the onscreen steps to go to
  Safe Mode with networking and check if you are able to login.
  
• 
  If it logs in Create a new user account and link the Microsoft account and check if the issue persists.
