    How to fix black screen with cursor on start up 05/11/23


    Updated my PC last night and now it's staying on a black screen but if I move my mouse I can see it. I tried restarting my graphics cards and can't open control panel. I also did try doing what I think is a full reset with just holding the power button on the pc. I know virtually nothing about PC's so please help. The cursor is also just the loading blue circle.

    Windows 11 black screen with cursor problem

    If I tried to login in windows 11 if my company laptop with organisation IP and dns,it's showing Black screen with cursor but if tried to login with internet connection it's working fine but if I tried to login without any network it's completely showing Black screen with cursor.

    I tried safe scan, updated drivers,safemode login, video driver updates and even tried to remove drivers but nin of the any suggestions working please help me with this.

    Black screen after 'Starting Windows' sequence

    Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

    Try this quoted from "VisiHow" article "Repair Windows 7 Black Screen of Death":

    They, also, have some other options there, too.
    Google search and you will find a lot of the "Windows Black Screen of Death with cursor" fixes.
