    How to fix black screen with non-movable cursor?


    I have been getting a black screen with a non-movable cursor almost every single time after I close my laptop. I have found that forcefully restarting it works but it keeps happening. While this isn't something I would ordinarily complain about, it has started to affect my ability to do my school work and I am now getting worried that at some point, it won't turn back on.

    Windows 10m upgrade black screen with cursor

    I have recently upgraded windows 7 with a fee online upgrade of windows 10. After I initiated the Winows10 upgrade the, monitor screen went black with a movable cursor. Can anyone tell me the next steps to get my computer working again?

    Windows 10 Black screen upon boot, movable cursor

    When I boot up my computer Windows 10 I get a black screen upon boot, with a movable cursor. when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del and enter task manager. I can see the task manager. from there I have to start a new task (explorer) and my computer desktop becomes
    visible. is there any way to correct the boot issue?
