Windows 10: how to fix boot drive X: failure due Errors i uppercase file?

Since windows 10 RE was not able to fix it and no backups exists.Plan is to make bootable USB drive where i need product key....how to find that?Just to try if chkdsk /F/R would fix the problem.I just just doubt a bit can i find my PC all mounted drives when i start-up via USB...do i have to mount them somehow?Better ideas? Windows RE are helpless in this problem. Good i love these upgrades/updates which supprises you when you're sleeping.Cheers,- Some who fought against WIN from the begining...DOS were better when you controlled everything...now remember nothing about those times.

You are trying to run chdkdsk on the X drive in most of those attempts and I cannot see any changeover to the OS drive. The last ones seem to be on your OS drive but as I cannot see when you changed to it I have no way of knowing if there is any useful
information in any of the results.

You might need to work through dir c:, dir d:, ... until you see contents that match your OS drive. The result will not be the X drive because that is the drive letter for the virtual drive that is running while you are in the Windows recovery environment
[WRE]. If you booted into the WRE with a USB / DVD / CD then the USB / DVD / CD itself will also be found somewhere in your dir results in addition to the X virtual drive - it will look very similar to the results for your OS disk [similar folder structure]
so you need to be careful to check the drive labels as well as the folder lists you see.

Then run your desired chkdsk commands on the correct drive.

I once had chkdsk spend most of a day giving a long list of results with thousands of errors but when I simply reinstalled Windows the drive was fine [it had all been Windows corruption not disk failure]. And that drive is still working well ten years later.

How do i fix errors in uppercase file, I have already tried using chkdsk C: /f, it did not work. any help would be appreciated.
