Windows 10: How to fix broken sound input / output?

It broke after, my computer died during the newest windows 11 update. Now, the sound input / output is broken. the speaker has an X beside it, and also, there are no "installed input / output" devices.I've tried troubleshooting it says: One or more audio services aren't running, and in detailed info, it also says Start required audio servicesCompletedI've tried the "Get Help" app didn't help, at all.and I cant seem to access device manager it wont respond.When I tried to start the program via services, it says error 1068.I also tried to access the sound menu, by the control panel, and i

no input or output audio devices found

Unfortunately, that did not work. There is something listed under the sound now in the device manager and that says it is functioning, but i still have no sound and it states there are no input and output devices.

Why is sound output muted when input is detected?

I'm trying to use a USB Sound Card to output a tone while looking for a sound input. I see that when the input function is selected, the output tone is muted. Is there some device configuration that is causing this?
