Windows 10: How to fix bsod loophole CRITICAL_SERVICES_FAILED after trying to restore pc to a date

Hello,Recently after trying to “optimise” my pc using videos on YouTube big mistake I’m guessing now my pc has “stopped working”, whilst trying to get more fps for my gaming experience I think I touched some wrong files since I started to feel some sort of latency and get ping spikes consistently which is super unusual for my pc. I tried restoring my pc to a certain date but in return I’m stuck in this bsod loophole, I’ve tried many things online, but nothing has worked, I just end up on the bsod time and time again, my stop code is CRITICAL_SERVICES_FAILEDFor a bit more information I tried

Currently replying on iPhone, I’ll give you a proper timeline Step 1) during the program of tuneup plus my pc bsod 3 times but I was finally able to get the info Step 2) Restore point was easy and done quick which now leads to step 3 Step 3) After starting the WDV my pc bsod with the stop code of “System thread exception not handled” following the steps I open command prompt and tried to turn it off which says that nothing was changed, so then after a couple of bsod’s later I manage to go back to my restore point which now leads to a problem I cant seem to fix where when I try to open my pc it says something is wrong with my pin with error code (0x80090016) If needed I do have the tuneup plus info Trying to solve the pin problem if anyone suggestions please inform me.

 

Restore Problems, trying to restore my PC to a date about three days ago.

Hi

I am trying to restore my PC to a date about three days ago, however when i go onto the create date it will not let me change the date from the actual time I am actually on the PC. Can someone please advise me how to change the date to enable me to restore.
I am not very PC literate so easy steps please would be most appreciated.

I understand the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will definitely assist you.I appreciate the steps you have performed. Since those steps did not work let’s try other troubleshooting methods and check if it helps in resolving
the issue. Follow the below methods provided.

Method 1.

I would suggest you to disable the anti-virus program and try to performed system restore. Check if it helps.

Disclaimer: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have
to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

If the issue still persist try the below method.

Method 2.

I suggest you to check if Virtual Disk and Volume Shadow copy are working on the desktop background. Follow the below step:

• 
  Press Windows key + R and type
  services.msc and hit enter.
  
• 
  Now locate for Virtual Disk and
  Volume Shadow copy.
  
• 
  If the program are not running right click on the program and click on
  start to run it.
  

If the above method does not fix the issue try the below method provided.

Method 3.

I recommend you to run check disk on the hard drive to see if there are any corruptions.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  
  chkdsk /f
  
  Disclaimer: While performing check disk on the hard drive, if any bad sectors are found then check disk will try to repair that sector. Any data available on a bad sector might be lost.
  

Once Check Disk completes, boot the computer and then check.
