That is really strange, CLSID: {EA2C6B24-C590-457B-BAC8-4A0F9B13B5B8} is actually C:\Windows\System32\UserAccountControlSettings.dll

So User Account Control is asking for permission basically for itself . . .

You mention Cleaner - is the CCleaner, if so you need to remove that form your system, most major Windows Updates will remove that utility, and I think what has happened is a recent update removed some, but not all of CCleaner and the remnants left behind are
causing this error

Try the free version of Revo Uninstaller and see if that can remove CCleaner, if not, try this tool from Microsoft which can be used to remove stubborn applications

Finally if you cannot remove CCleaner, try re-installing it and then remove it ...

 

Event ID 10016, CLSID and APPID

Hey, I've been trying to resolve this same dcom issue myself, and I followed the steps you listed @FreeBooter, but when I try to do the last step, I firstly when clicking "edit" get a message saying



And then when I do enter the menu after clicking "ok" on that dialog box, the add button is greyed out.

I'm 100% certain I followed all the steps correctly. I triple-checked it. But no dice...
