Windows 10: how to fix cursor not locking into game window.

How would i go about fixing an issue where when im playing pretty much any game in fullscreen my mouse will not under not circumstances stay in that window. i have tried everything ive found and it will not work. the game is in fullscreen exclusive under the correct resolution i just cant for the life of me find a fix.

Taskbar above windowed games - Windows 10

I realize your concern, please an answer few query to assist you further.

1. Is this issue specific to a particular game or for all games?

For your information, usually the taskbar appears when you move the cursor. If it is appearing continuously, then it might be conflict with the software. Restarting the Computer might fix the issue.

I suggest you to double mouse click on the game window when the Taskbar appears and check if it works.

Also, suggest you to select the Lock the taskbar option from the taskbar from the below steps:

1. Right click on taskbar.
2. From the list of option, click on Lock the taskbar option.
3. Restart the computer.

Mouse Cursor not locking in Games

We appreciate the time and effort you have put in to resolve the issue. I would like to assist you with further information from here.

Sometimes with a multiple monitor setup when you move your mouse from left to right inside the game the mouse can leave the game and move to a different monitor. If while your mouse is on the other screen you click (thinking you are still in the game) it
can alt + tab you out of the game and in some cases crash it.

As an initial recommendation, I would suggest you to define a Keyboard Shortcut to Lock or Unlock Mouse Movements to the Monitor with Mouse Cursor. Once Mouse is Locked to one Monitor, you will not be able to move the Mouse Cursor to any other Monitor unless
you Unlock Mouse by pressing the Keyboard Shortcut again
