Windows 10: How to fix Dell laptop camera not working/showing up in devices

I have a Dell g5 15 5500 and my webcam is not showing up anywhere, device manager dosent list it. And when you open up camera app it just says no cameras are attached. I tried Installing realtek webcam drivers but there was no luck. The camera is already enabled in the BIOS but still dosent work. Any solutions?

Dell Monitor Camera

I have a Dell Monitor hooked to a Dell XPS Laptop. I want to use the monitor camera not the laptop camera. I've tried the suggestions from a closed thread about activating the camera but when I try the steps it keeps going to the laptop camera.

Suggestions or am I asking the impossible.

 

Dell laptop camera not working

I just recently purchased a Dell laptop with Windows 10, and just recently discovered the camera will not work on any app. I tried following the help page for reasons the camera might not work, but it doesn't even show that there is one, even though there
clearly is a camera on the top of the laptop. It won't show on device manager, I have the privacy settings updated to allow the camera to work on the camera app but it still is not working. Please help!!!!

Is the Camera listed in Device Manager ?
My DELL INSPIRON 15-5578 lists a > Realtek IR Camera Driver
My older Dell's used > Dell Webcam Central
