Windows 10: How to Fix Desktop that Freezes After Start

Just recently my desktop started to freeze after I logged in after startup. I have two seconds to try and click on anything, but after that any command key or left/right click has no effect. I can move my cursor just fine, but I am unable to click on any icons or programs. My desktop is a custom unit and speaking with the manufacturer, they believed it to be an issue with an update or corrupt file in the Windows 11 system. I have a flash drive ready to reinstall windows 11, but can't really do anything. I have tried to enter BIOS or troubleshoot mode to try and fix this, but all the attempts f

In order for us to find out what causes your desktop to freeze after logging in, we would like to gather more information:

• Did you make any recent changes on your computer prior to this issue?
• What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• When the computer freezes, do you get an error message?

Computer FREEZE at Desktop display

I have had similar experience. But mine is more random, and occurs when clicking the start menu. It will partially load then freeze the computer. The only way out is to hard shut down. THis happens randomly a number of times per day, and occassionally
immediately again upon reboot. I have since done a recovery to 8.1 and all is well now. THe suggested steps did no good. THere is a bug in Win10. Probably should stop with the workaround suggestions and try to find/fix the issue.

 

Windows boots to the desktop then freezes

Yeah...I went to google and got the F8...lol*Stick Out Tongue ....thxxx

It boots up in safe mode and seems to work fine. Now I just need to figure out what's causing windows to freeze up befor it fully loads in normal start up operation.

Any suggestions where I might start ?
