Windows 10: how to fix error:"Another installation process is running.Wait a moment,then click Retry."

I used Visual Studio 2022 to write a Excel-addinbased on dotnet framework 4.8 and used the "Microsoft Visual Studio Installer Projects 2022" to package and generate it. I add the dotnet Framework4.8 and Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Office Runtime into "Custom Actions"->"Install".I packaged it and sent it to someone else. They told me that the addin can not be installed.The information displayed on the screen is shown in the following image.It means: Another installation process is running.Wait a moment,then click Retry.Or,if you are running any other installation process along with t

Error encountered 0x80244018 retry is what I came back to after running the update for several hours.

I tried the retry and it is back to 1% downloaded. I can leave it run again and follow the steps you listed if it doesn't work.

 

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.

Error: No work available to process

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.
