Windows 10: How to fix error occurred while attempting to delete this specific element

So i unchecked the number of processors in msconfig i couldn't get into windows i tried everything like chkdsk,sfc system restore and nothing worked so today i saw this post with a fix to change the msconfig settings from the cmd in windows advanced options here are the commands from the fix "bcdedit/deletevalue {default} numproc" and "bcdedit/deletevalue {default} truncatememory" and when i try the commands it says "an error occurred while attempting to delete the specific element.element not found" and i tried from "c:\windows\system32" and from "c:\windows\system32\config" i dont know how t

How to fix the bcdedit error "an error occurred while attmpting to delete the specified data element"

in trying to update windows on the ASUS Tranformer, i get the error that tells me Windows cannot create a RAMDISK. So, i try using bcdedit and then i get an error message "bcdedit error "an error occurred while attempting to delete the specified data element".

I cannot seem to get any guidance on how to fix the error, so i am stuck.

Help.

How to select the correct disk and make the Windows active and run the commands again?

If the commands are run from “x:\Sources>” or "x:\Windows\System32" it gives the same error.
