    Hi I am having issues as my headphones microphone is not working because my jack microphone is not plugged in even though it is please help!

    Headphone Jack Splitter Fix?

    Hi,

    Can you please is the Microphone is listed in the device manager after you connected to jack or not.

    Step 1:

    Go to Device Manager & expand Audio Inputs and Outputs

    Step 2:

    If Microphone is listed Select Microphone and right-click then select Enable Device

    Let me know the status after performing the above.

    How to use microphone jack as audio jack?

    My laptop ASUS K55VD's audio jack broke down. There was a bead inserted inside it then I cannot use the jack to play audio from my laptop. I am just wondering if it is possible to use the microphone jack (Line-in) to audio jack (line out)?

    Hello Jon,

    Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft community and welcome to the Windows 10 Family.

    Please be informed that Microphone input cannot be used as a line out for audio.

    At this point, fixing/replacing the jack manually or finding an alternative with Microphone input might not be the best of the solutions.

    I suggest you to refer to the manufacturer for additional information and assistance on the same.
