Windows 10: How to fix laptop losing MAJOR performance on games when unplugged

It seems when the battery is unplugged from my gaming laptop, all the performance of the hardware just hops out the window? When plugged in, the laptop cpu and gpu does very well performing in games but as soon as the laptop gets unplugged the cpu gets slow and drops to a low GHZlike 1.00 and the gpu is trying to run in unison with the intergrated graphics, which is causing extra slowdowns aswell. Things I tried to fix already:Changing the power plan to high performance - all performance plans are not showing and only balanced is availableChaning the configuration in software. Dell power man

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

Weird gaming performance when plugging and unplugging my laptop.

So when I'm playing a very demanding game on my PC, it lags for sure, but if it's plugged and I unplug it, it runs like butter and after a few seconds, it resumes lagging. Same thing happens when it's unplugged and I plug it. Is there a way to fix this
please?
