Windows 10: How to fix laptop stuck on restart

The laptop turned on fine a few weeks ago but now keeps getting stuck on this. I click okay and it restarts, comes up with the asus logo and then the message comes up again. It won’t let me do anything with it. Only the charger is plugged in but if I unplug it, it turns off like it hasn’t got any battery even tho it’s been in charge all day. Does anyone know how to fix this. I can’t do anything except click okay. The message reads:“The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click “OK” to restart the computer,

Uninstalled BitDefender, laptop stuck in restart

I have BitDefender Free version on Windows 10. I followed the instructions at How to uninstall Bitdefender from a Windows computer to uninstall it. Unfortunately, I followed with Windows 11 process rather than the Windows 10 process. This means uninstalling BitDefender from the APPWIZ.CPL tool rather than BitDefender Security folder. I got no complaint messages, but I was prompted to restart my laptop.



The laptop has been stuck in a startup step for about 10 minutes, with the message "Getting Windows ready. Don't turn off your computer".

1. Could this have been caused by following the Windows 11 process instead of the Windows 10 process?
   
2. At what point should I conclude that it is never going to finish?
   
3. Would it be safe to perform a hard reboot?

Stuck in Reboot loop after power cut

Hi,

We understand your concern and appreciate the time and effort that you have invested in to fix the issue.

Before we proceed, I would like you to state which troubleshooting steps have you performed bedsides the mentioned to fix the issue.

As per the description, I suspect that you might be stuck in a reboot loop. I suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if it helps

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

Stuck on Restarting Screen

Hi

I have a Lenovo YOGA 910-13IKB laptop and its stuck on the blue restarting screen.

I’ve read some of the suggested fixes but they don’t appear to work.

Is there info on current options that may work for this type of computer
