Windows 10: How to fix Microsoft Virus Protection and Microsoft Firewall

I don't know how it happened, suddenly I noticed my Virus Protection and Firewall are broken. I tried hard for hours by reading many answers here to fix, but I really couldn't help. Tried so many things like [COLOR=rgba32, 33, 36, 1]sfc /[/COLOR]scannow. I have been disappointed.

It is possible that I might have installed some virus by mistake. One thing to fix them is System Reset, but I want to avoid it.

Here are the problems I'm facing:

Problem 1. Firewall.

No matter how many times I click Restore settings, the error won't go.



Further, the button is disabled:



And in services, I can't even click Start or Stop. Looks like something is broken for sure:




Problem 2: Windows Virus Protection

First, I can't find any service named Windows Protection in services.

Further, these buttons are disabled and Yellow warnings showing up:




Moreover, if you see, strange errors. I can't even see my exclusions. Looks like they are lost :




Looks like all these has a common enemy, that messed up everything.

Is there any way to fix all these without Reset?

My Windows is up to date. Windows 10 Home, 19043.906

Microsoft Exclusion List for Anti-virus

Apparantly, Microsoft posted a list of files that can be "Excluded" from any Anti-Virus that you use to help with scanning performance.
