Windows 10: How to fix mouse and keyboard turning off every 15-45 minutes and then you need to restart...

I have aldready tried1. Disable selective suspend2. Unchecked allow this device to turn off to save power for every usb device usb root hub,input device,generic usb33. Tried every polling rate from 125 to 1k4. Tried all usb ports on my pc5. Tried switching os6.Reinstalled my usb root hubI have a dell optiplex 3010

TV Monitors not sleeping after 15 Minutes

This is what I discovered...

• Bluetooth - it was turned on
  
• 8 USB Ports...
  
  • 4 were unused
    
  • 4 had devices connected to the USB ports...
    
    • One was a camera
      
    • One was my external hard drivedevices
      
    • One was for my CyberPower Battery Backup
      
    • One for my Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse
      

I set the Power Option to turn off screen after 1 minute.

I turned off Bluetooth.

I removed the Camera, external hardrive and the Battery Backup.

I kept the Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse because I needed to use them on the computer.

Waited 2 minutes and neither screen turned off.

I hooked up a wired keyboard using an open USB port.

I hooked up a wireless mouse to a separate USB port.

I unplugged the Microsoft keyboard/mouse from a USB port.

After 1 minute, both monitors turned off .

I then tried plugging the Microsoft keyboard/mouse into a different USB port.

Waited over 1 minute and neither monitor turned off after 1 minute.

So, the culprit is the Microsoft keyboard/mouse connected to a USB port.

Once upon a time, when I was using 2 computer monitors (not TVs), they would turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity while using the same Microsoft keyboard/mouse.

Now that the Microsoft keyboard/mouse does not work, could it be a Microsoft driver issue?

 

Mouse stops working after 15 minutes


Any assistance with this one would be appreciated as I am out of ideas...

My wife's laptop, a Packard Bell Easynote, has developed a problem whereby the wired mouse stops working after about 15 minutes use. Changing USB sockets does not help, and only a full restart starts the mouse again for about 15 minutes. This is the case for two mice, one a Dell mouse and the other a Lenovo one.

The computer beeps when a mouse is connected/disconnected to/from any USB port while the mouse is not responding suggesting that they are still powered, and I have attempted to fix by updating the drivers with no change.

This was also happening with Windows 7 and has transferred with the upgrade to Win 10?

System specs are - Easynote TS, Intel core i5, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD using Intel HD graphics 3000

Logitech mouse and Keyboard issues

Thank you as well. I have no owned a corded mouse in 15 years or since they had wireless mice. Can I do the steps backwards, meaning do the keyboard first rather than the mouse since I will need a working mouse to do all this?
