  1. How to fix mouse drag and prevent duplicate receivers from showing in Settings>Devices?

I’ve went through countless forms, attempted to update drivers but are show to be up to date, disabled and uninstalled the mouse or derivers, went to device manger but nothing seems to work. I EVEN BOUGHT A NEW MOUSE but the same issue is occurring. I’ve plugged it into all USB ports and even used the wire connector but nothing new. I EVEN FACTORY RESET MY LAPTOP, the mouse has no issues on different laptops. I currently have Windows 11 installed and use a Logitech G305. I bought a brand new one but the new mouse is experiencing the same issues. At this point i feel like the only thing i can

    :)

How to stop mouse movement from waking the computer?

Thanks lgentry. I have a Microsoft wired keyboard and a Logitech wireless mouse. Under Device Manager>Keyboards it lists two "HID Keyboard Device"s and the Microsoft keyboard. Unchecking the "Allow this device to wake the computer" for the two HID keyboards fixed the problem as you suggested. Weird that one must prevent "keyboards" from waking the computer to in fact prevent the mouse from waking it.

  3. Touchpad settings disappeared when I tried to download

    Hi Roy,

Thank you for the details and sorry for the delayed response.

I suggest you to set the touchpad sensitivity to Balanced from the settings which might fix the issue. Follow the steps below.

    • Press Windows key + X and select Control panel.
    • Search "Mouse" from the search bar towards the top right corner.
    • The Mouse Properties window will open.
    • Click the "Device Settings" or "Touch Pad" tab, depending on your touchpad's manufacturer. If you have a "Device Settings" tab, you will then need to click on your touchpad from the list of devices and click "Settings."
    • Click the "Touch Sensitivity" button, or select "Sensitivity" from the list that appears on your screen, depending on your touchpad's manufacturer. Drag the slider in the middle of the window to the left to make your touchpad more sensitive, and drag it
to the right to make your touchpad less sensitive. The effect will be immediate, so you can drag and release the slider, and then test the touchpad and drag the slider again until you have found a sensitivity setting that works for you.
    • Click "OK" at the bottom of the window to close it and save your changes.

    Hope this helps.

How to fix mouse drag and prevent duplicate receivers from showing in Settings>Devices?

Mouse (wireless and non-wireless) and Windows 10 not working together

Hello, Both Microsoft USB dual receiver wireless mouse and Logitech LX3 mouse function erratically with Windows 10. I have to click multiple times to make a window or area active, trying to highlight a word or phrase takes multiple
attempts. I've checked 'Fix mouse, touchpad, and keyboard problems in Windows' without success. Properties show the devices are working normally. Suggestions?
