Windows 10: How to fix my PC, starts running very slowly and choppy at seemingly random moments, fixes...

Hello,I have this really annoying issue with my PC. In november of 2023, I build my 2nd own gaming PC. It has a radeon 7900 xt, ryzen 5 7600, 32 gb G.Skill 6000 mhz ram, 2 tb ssd. A decently strong system. Ever since the beginning, the pc occasionally starts running extremely slowly and very choppy. Everything is like this, the tabs, the mouse, everything. Eventually, it always fixes itself or if I am impatient, a restart also fixes the issue. Strangely enough, It has never happened while gaming, I have only ever had it happen while doing normal stuff, watching youtube, doing school work, just

Choppy video, all sources, 2 different PCs (long post)


The video problem persists. My ISP sent a new modem, but it made no difference on streaming video, so the problem must be somewhere in the computer. I just can't figure where. This is driving me crazy, because I can't watch any video on either computer because the choppy playback is too distracting.

I thought for a moment that the problem may be with the SATA driver or controller, as my Device Manager shows only the following, and if I'm not mistaken I'm supposed to see channels listed as well.





But I just checked a video I recorded on my standalone recorder on a USB 3.0 flash drive, and it's choppy, too.

Doesn't anyone have any suggestions?

 

BSOD at random moments

Hello dear community,

I am getting BSOD at "random moments" since 1 year. It was at a tolerable frequency like one per month. But now since one month I am getting at least 2 BSOD per day. I did everything I could to fix it myself. List of things I've already done are :

• memtest
  
• chkdsk /f /r
  
• sfc /scannow
  
• verifier
  
• Full reset of Windows
  
• Verify connections of hardwares (RAM, Storage etc)
  
• Update every drivers, Windows 11 (that's how I got Windows 11)
  

When I say random moments it's for example I am just clicking, opening PDF File, watching video, browsing Zotero etc. However it just crashed 2 times consecutively when I tried to download a game from Epic Games. So I am suspecting my SSD even if I did all the suggested checks I found from Google.

My Laptop model is lenovo legion 5 15arh05h.

I have 5 dump files 110722-12125-01.zip. All previous ones are deleted because of the reset.

The most recurrent errors I get are irql_not_less_or_equal and page_fault_in_nonpaged_area. But I get other errors like driver_irql_not_less_or_equal.

Mouse stops working at random moments

Hi,

My name is Mohammed Shuaib, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to assist you with the issue of Mouse stops working at random times. Please follow the below to fix the issue.

Fix #1:

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type CMD

Step 2:

Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

Step 3:

Type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic and press enter.

Step 4:

Restart PC

Let me know the status after performing the above.
