Windows 10: How to fix my taskbar being nonfunctional after updating last night.

I am unable to use the search bar, or any icons on the taskbar itself. I ran the troubleshooter and it said it made changes but it did not fix anything. Have also tried multiple restarts. This all started since I updated windows last night.

• What exactly happens when you press Alt+Tab keys from the keyboard to switch between the apps?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
• What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue?

As you said Taskbar is not working, and you will minimize all the opened apps to access the one you wish to from Taskbar. Be clear with how exactly you are trying to accessing the apps from Taskbar.

Step 1: I suggest you to check if you have enabled the Auto-hide option for Taskbar, if so try to disable and check if it helps.

Steps to enable auto-hide Taskbar:

• Right click in the empty space on the Taskbar, click on
  Properties,
• Under Taskbar tab, uncheck the Auto-hide the Taskbar option, click on
  Apply and Ok.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Windows Color Management, Night Light Completely Nonfunctional after Upgrading to Windows 11

After upgrading to Windows 11, windows color management and night light are completely nonfunctional. If I go to calibrate colors, changing the color or gamma does absolutely nothing. This is true whether or not I have drivers for my GPU (RTX 4090) from Nvidia or the default windows update one. Reverting to Windows 10 didn't even fix the issue! It just completely broke when I upgraded to 11 and I can't seem to fix it at all. The issue persists in Safe Mode.

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
• Check if the option for Lock the Taskbar and Auto-hide the taskbar
  are ticked.
• If they are ticked then uncheck the option for Auto-hide the taskbar.

Also, suggest you to update the Display driver by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.
