Windows 10: How to fix not being able to use some of the settings in settings

I looked in my settings and I wanted to disable the taskbar labels but it was grey and I couldn't select anything for that setting. How do I fix this?

Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.

Not able to set a printer as default.
