Windows 10: How to fix notifications only showing up when the windows menu is open?Windows 11

I noticed I wasn't receiving pop-up notifications for my apps on Windows 11. I have already tried restarting file explorer, disabling focus assist, running an SFC scan, re-registering the action center, and tweaking the registry editor for push notifications. There is some improvement where if the Windows menu is open and I receive a notification, it pops up as normal. But when the Windows menu is closed, I do not receive any notifications whatsoever. Has anyone else had this issue in the past, and if so, how did you resolve it?

Follow these steps to check if it works:

Step 1: Open the Windows Settings menu by pressing the Windows Key and “I,” or alternatively search for Settings in the Windows search bar and click the corresponding result.

Step 2: Click Notifications & Actions in the left-hand menu. This will take you to a screen providing access to all of the settings related to notifications and the Action Center.

Step 3: Click the System icon, then select Notifications and actions from the left-hand menu.

Step 4: Look for the Notifications subheading, where you will see a number of toggles for various types of notifications. The following is a list of the settings you can toggle on this screen:

• Get notifications from apps and other senders
• Show notifications on the lock screen
• Show alarms, reminders, and incoming VoIP calls on the lock screen
• Hide notifications when duplicating my screen
• Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows

You may just turn them off the notification as you need.

 

Context Menu - Open With (Windows Suggested List)

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 22H2
Diagram 'A' shows Windows' suggested programs
Diagram 'B' shows the extended list

I have been trying to edit the context menu's "Open with" list of Windows' suggested programs for the .mp3 extension.
I'm not talking about the extended list, but rather the programs that first appear 'before' the "choose another app" option.
If you look at Diagram 'A' you will see the preliminary list generated by Windows, this is the list I am looking to modify.
I have an .mp3 editor named Goldwave that I use for editing audio files, however, I do not want to change the preliminary program Windows uses to open .mp3s. My .mp3s should remain assigned to Winamp Player.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Windows Media Player 11 plays but doesnt open?

Im been having a small problem with Windows Media Player 11 in windows vista, ill click on a song to play and it will play but it doesnt pop up, so ill have to go a open it for the start menu*Confused
