Windows 10: how to fix or restart unresponsive Windows 11 laptop without power button?

My laptop is on and its screen appears normal, but frozen in the midst of activity. The mouse, keyboard, touch pad, and touch screen suddenly stopped working. There is no physical power button.How can I fix it? My only idea is to let the battery die and then plug it in and restart it. Is there an alternative?The laptop is an Intel core i7 Dell bought in 2021. It runs Windows 11. It has never had problems.I had been cutting videos into segments for hours when this happened.I had been using a bluetooth mouse when it stopped. I tried a USB mouse, but it also didn't work.

This is from the ATIV Book 9 Lite manual.

It suggests there is a battery disconnect hole on bottom of laptop. If pressed it will disconnect battery. Then on reapplying power battery will be connected. This may allow you to reset device. Please confirm in your manual.

Mouse & Keyboard become unresponsive in Windows 11, then unplugging the power cable shuts down the Laptop

This issue started only after updating to windows 11. While working, sometimes, my laptop's keyboard and mouse become unresponsive. However, if I have some external mouse attached, that external mouse works fine and windows stays responsive. just that my laptop's keyboard and mouse totally die out. When this happens, I remove the power cable. Doing so shuts down my laptop for unknown reasons. Then I hit the power button with the power cable removed and the laptop turns on with a clean slate with all my work lost.

Is there a possible fix for this?

Since you've had you laptop open is there a way to reset CMOS. Maybe a CMOS battery or charging circuit that can be disconnect. Think it looks like this
