Windows 10: How to fix ping spiking while gaming?

Often when i am gaming, every few minutes my ping spikes from 50-60 to 2000+ for a few seconds, then goes back. It's very disruptive and ruins games for me. i have tried every single other fix, like registry editing and network resetting, flushing DNS and network channels, none of them have fixed my issue. HELP!!

Hello, so I have been facing major ping spikes in game I have ran most of the tests to see what your ping is and most of them are above 100 how do I fix this and should I reset Windows?

Windows 11, ping spikes

Hi Dan. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

You could always shrink C in Disk Mgmt and Clean Install WIndows 10 in a Dual Boot to try it on that laptop: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

This way you can decide if you want to keep it on the PC, go back and forth, use both, or use one and keep the other in reserve. If you decide you want to keep it I'll show you how to still get a free WIndows 10 license, just skip the key during intsall.
