Windows 10: How to fix prepare loopz

    How to fix prepare loopz


    I tried reseting my PC now I am stuck in a loop where my pc resets and reset it trys to prepare then it resets right after it try too and some letters appear on the corners now I don't know what to do after a bit it I got said inaccessible boot device now I got critical process died and it kinda just loops now it' says to interrupt normal startup press enter I think something really broke and can not be fixed is there anything I can do

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    Preparing Windows

    Hi Jennifer,

    I realize that at startup your PC always says preparing for windows. I will try to help you with this issue.


    • Are you signing in to a Local account or the Microsoft account?
    Suggest you to boot the PC in Safe Mode to check if that helps. Once you are in the desktop screen you may boot the PC in a clean boot state to check the status.
