Windows 10: How to fix recording stops instantly after clicking record button Windows 10

Hello!Everytime I click the record button on my camera app Windows 10 the recording will stop instantly, and the video file was 0 bytes, how to fix it?Side Note: capturing pictures was fine

Can not record audio.

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Recording live video

You can use VLC Player to do that.

Step 1: Download and install VLC Player:

Download official VLC media player for Windows - VideoLAN

Step 2:

Launch VLC. Go to the "View" tab on the application menu and select "Advanced Controls." The "Record" button displays on the control bar.

Step 3:

Click the "Media" tab and select "Open Network Stream." Enter the direct URL to the network stream in the "Address" field. Click "Play" and the network stream loads in VLC.

Step 4

Click the "Record" button. When you are ready to stop recording the network stream, click the "Record" button again.

Step 5

Click the "Media" tab and select "Recent Media." The recording of the network stream appears listed in ASF format. Select the listing to view the captured media in VLC.

You can then burn it to a DVD:

Please run Recording Run Troubleshooter.

You may try to run the in-built Windows Recording Audio troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

  Press Windows Key + X.

  Click on Control Panel.

  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  On the left pane, click on View All.
  
• 
  Click on Windows Recording Audio to run the troubleshooter.
