Windows 10: How to fix restore default settings for balanced power plan not working?

I was editing balanced power plan to improve performance for gaming. Then I wanted to restore the defaults but when I click on the button nothing changed everything as it is. So what's the problem and its solution?Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately that suggestion did not resolve the issue.

The option to "Restore Plan Defaults" for Power Options is still not available and the "Restore Plan Defaults" button on the advanced settings screen is still grayed out.

Getting only balanced power plan

Hi,

Please note down the Balanced plan settings if you've customized them.

Then run the following command in the Admin CMD prompt:

• powercfg.exe -restoredefaultschemes
  

This restores the missing schemes.

Reconfigure the Balanced plan settings again.

 

USB settings in Power Plan Options on Windows 10 is missing, how to restore it?

As per the below suggested steps I am trying to disable the USB in USB selective suspend setting in my Dell laptop with Windows 10 Home. however, I do not find the USB Settings at all in two modes Balanced mode or Dell (Active) mode under change advanced
power settings. How to restore it?

USB Selective Suspend Settings, follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows + X.
2. Choose Power Options.
3. Select Choose when to turn off the display.
4. Open Change advanced power settings.
5. Expand USB settings and USB selective suspend setting.
6. Select Enabled (default) or Disabled.
7. Click Apply, then OK.
