    I've had an Alienware aurora r9 for about 4 years now, and I've had this problem pretty much since I got it. Everything runs incredibly slow, windows constantly "stops responding" games load slow, I can barely open settings or Google Chrome and downloads seem to be abnormally slow as I have pretty good wifi connection. I've tried just about every fix I've seen here, on reddit and tried some fixes from YouTube videos. I've scanned for viruses/malware. I've factory reset TWICE and it has never fixed my issue. I don't know a whole bunch about computers so maybe it's something obvious that I'm jus

    100% disk usage

    The most common cause of 100% disk usage appears to be Superfetch and Prefetch, but there are also other causes. You can try disabling both these features and see if it helps.

    OS: Windows 10

    Issue: 100% disk usage bringing down my whole system perfomance

    Workaround: NONE are working ( tried more than 40 suggestions including Microsoft one)
