How to fix the Windows 11 Laptop Keeps BSOD seemingly only when unplugged?I have two laptops and both were upgraded from Windows 10 to 11. No third-party software is installed except the one that comes with HP Laptop. The Windows is up to date.All drivers are up to date, some were even reinstalled.No gamin on the PC. Microsoft's Support team did a very poor job of helping with the problem. They hung up on me while on a call and never called me back. I hope someone from leadership will revisit the way support should be done. At this point can anyone suggest how to fix the BSOD issue?HP Envy 360

Hi, thanks for the detailed reply, as per checking and analyzing the DMP files you have, there are errors with WppRecorder.sys, this is actually considered a type of Win32 EXE (Driver) file. They are associated with the SYS file extension, developed by Microsoft for Microsoft Windows Operating System, and for us to fix the issue kindly follow the steps below:

I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Hi, thanks for that information, as per checking there is a new error Cng.sys, this is actually a Windows file, however, it can have an error when there are drivers or hardware that is defective, in this case since you have done system repair and the issue persist, I suggest to run a custom installation to fix the issue, however, the process will delete all apps but will retain all files on the PC, if you are okay with that, you may follow the steps provided below:

On the Windows 11 ISO you downloaded, kindly right-click on ISO then click Mount> Click Sources folder>then look for Setup.exe inside the sources folder

Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware related issues.

Apologies for the delay in replying, I followed your steps and did an in-place upgrade where I downloaded a Windows 11 ISO of Windows 11 (multi-edition ISO).

Since then, I've been using my laptop (without it plugged-in) waiting to see if it would eventually have a blue-screen.

It was working fine up until just recently (a few minutes ago) where the laptop had a blue screen. Unfortunately, this means that your above solution wasn't a fix.

After checking my Minidump folder (C:\windows\Minidump), I noticed one file there that was created/modified at the time of the crash.
