    How to fix this error wile installing .NET Framework 3.5including Net2.0 and 3.0


    I receive the error code 0x80072efe when I try to install the NET framework 3.5.I tried to use the cmd.exe and power shell it both failed.I also tried dism /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth & sfc /SCANNOW ant it still didn.t workI could really use some help.

    I can not install .net framework 3.5 in windows 10. This error appear when I am installing it. "Error 0*800736B3 " Please help me.

    Can't install/enable .NET 3.5 Framework

    Since you are getting that error. We suggest you to try downloading the .Net Framework 3.5 on your Windows 10 PC. Kindly follow these steps:

    • Go into RegEdit and set the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU folder.
    • DoubleClick on UseWUServer(UseWindowsUpdateServer) and change the value to 0. (If the value is already 0 this fix may not work for you.)
    • You may need to restart afterwards.

    Note: The method to fix the issue will have Registry modification. Before you modify the Registry, make sure to back it up and understand how to restore the registry if a problem occurs. Please refer to this
